Torri sighed to herself as she hurried out of class and down the corridor. Professor Snape had held her back to yell at her about failing the latest test. After a few moments of apologizing and saying that she will do better, the dark professor had let her go.
She took the corner going down another corridor sharply, almost running into someone as she took it.
“S-Sorry.” She managed out, stopping herself about an inch before she hit the person.
“Where are we going in such a hurry, Mudblood?” The cold voice of Draco Malfoy echoed throughout the corridor.
“Class.” The brunette said shortly and tried to side step the blonde, “Excuse me.”
The Slytherin stepped in front of the brown eyed girl with a smirk.
Torri tried to step around him again, only to have him move in front of her again.
“Excuse me.” She repeated, “I’d like to get by.”
“Oh, you would, would you?” He mocked, “And if I said I wouldn’t let you through?”
“Malfoy, I don’t want to play this game today.” She told the blonde.
“What game?” The blonde demanded.
“I just want you to move.” The Ravenclaw relented, “I’m going to be late.”
“If you want me to move,” The blonde teased, “Then make me, Mudblood.”
His cold grey eyes held amusement as he stared into her dark brown ones. He was having fun playing with her. She was at the end of her rope.
Without raising her hands, or reaching for her wand the brunette spoke with utter confidence and annoyance, “Flipendo.”
The Slytherin then went flying backwards into a nearby suit of armor, hitting the ground with a loud thud and lot of clattering and clanging.
The Ravenclaw, assured with her work, readjusted the bag on her shoulder and took off down the corridor towards her next class leaving the blonde in a pile of disassembled armor.
Draco only let out a groan of pain. He was surprised though. He never thought that that awkward, shy, anxiety stricken girl would be able to use wandless magic in their first year. Perhaps it was just because she was out of patience and couldn’t control it, but he was happy to witness it with her.
